As we continue to grow, we are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Office Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the business.
The Role
This is a varied and important role that sits at the heart of the business, providing support across administration, HR, compliance, reporting and business operations.
Working closely with the Directors and wider team, you will help ensure our internal processes remain effective, our records are accurate, and our people have the support they need to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities
Business & Office Support
- Coordinate key business administration activities and internal processes.
- Maintain accurate company records, documentation and renewal schedules.
- Manage company subscriptions, licences, suppliers and service agreements.
- Support improvements to internal processes and ways of working.
- Act as a central point of contact for business support activities.
- Maintain records of key business commitments, contracts and service agreements.
- Liaise with suppliers and external providers where required.
HR Administration
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate annual leave, absence records and general employee administration.
- Support recruitment activities, including interview coordination, candidate communication and onboarding documentation.
- Maintain employee training records and support the coordination of development activities.
- Liaise with external HR providers where required.
Compliance, Quality & Health & Safety
- Maintain compliance documentation and records, including support for GDPR and ISO activities.
- Assist with policy reviews, document control and business compliance processes.
- Support business risk management activities, including maintaining relevant registers and documentation.
- Maintain Health & Safety records, risk assessments and related documentation.
- Coordinate training, inspections and other Health & Safety activities as required.
- Support the maintenance of a safe and compliant working environment.
Reporting & Business Support
- Produce regular business reports and management information.
- Support data analysis to assist decision-making.
- Assist with KPI reporting and performance reviews.
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement through analysis of available information.
- Prepare meeting documentation, reports and presentations.
- Maintain action logs and support tracking of agreed actions through to completion.
Director Support
- Provide proactive support to the Directors.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments and related administration.
- Arrange business travel, accommodation and itineraries.
- Support business projects and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with meeting preparation, including agendas, documentation and follow-up actions.
About You
You will be a highly organised, dependable and proactive individual who enjoys being involved across different areas of a business. You will be comfortable managing your own workload, taking ownership of tasks and building strong relationships with colleagues and external suppliers.
You will have:
- Previous experience in business administration, office management, business support or a similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Experience supporting HR administration within an SME environment.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Experience with compliance documentation and business processes.
- Experience producing reports and analysing business information.
- Familiarity with ISO standards or quality management systems.
- Experience supporting Health & Safety administration.
- Experience managing suppliers, contracts or business services.

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
