The Opportunity
As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking qualified and self-motivated Electricians to join our compliance and maintenance team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical inspections, testing, remedial repairs, and minor installations across a range of residential properties in London and the South East
This is a field-based role that includes working in both domestic dwellings and the communal areas of residential buildings. In addition to general electrical works, you will also carry out work on emergency lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and other life safety installations — making this a varied and rewarding role for professionals looking to broaden their experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical inspection and testing (EICRs) in line with BS7671
- Carry out remedial works and minor installations in both domestic and communal settings
- Work on electrical life safety systems including emergency lighting and fire alarms
- Complete accurate test certificates and maintain clear records
- Ensure all works are compliant with current regulations and internal procedures
- Identify hazards, non-compliances and recommend corrective actions
- Engage professionally with residents, colleagues and client representatives
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times

About You
We’re looking for reliable, safety-conscious professionals who take pride in doing things the right way. You should be comfortable working independently on-site while also contributing to a team delivering essential services to residents.
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent (EICR qualification)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working in domestic properties and/or social housing
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Strong communication and time management abilities
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience working in communal residential settings
- Familiarity with emergency lighting and/or fire alarm systems
- ECS Gold Card
- Knowledge of building compliance and safety systems
- Experience using handheld devices or digital reporting systems
Additional Information
This is a mobile role covering a portfolio of residential buildings across London, requiring flexibility, initiative and professionalism.
Occasional participation in an out-of-hours rota may be required. All necessary tools, equipment and support will be provided.
