Duties
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and hands-on inspection techniques
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns and extend lifespan
- Repair and replace mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Assemble new machinery or parts following detailed assembly instructions and technical drawings
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move or install large components safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and supporting operational needs
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience interpreting schematics and technical diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in various work environments
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for diverse machinery and equipment repair processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and support customer service efforts
- Prior experience working with heavy machinery or industrial equipment is preferred but not required
Pay: £1.00-£100.00 per day
