MUST HAVE A LEVEL 3 CHILDCARE QUALIFICATION
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support early childhood development and learning outcomes
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where children feel secure to explore and express themselves
- Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the day
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support each child's individual needs
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of childcare practice, health, safety, and hygiene protocols
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or volunteers to promote teamwork and professional growth within the nursery setting
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to childcare standards and early childhood education policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting, demonstrating strong understanding of early childhood education principles
- Management or leadership experience in a childcare environment is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of nursery practices, child development milestones, and safeguarding procedures
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Valid childcare or nursery qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator) is preferred
- A valid driving license is advantageous for roles requiring travel between multiple locations or community outreach activities

Pay: £13.50-£13.75 per hour
