Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Van Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations whilst maintaining excellent customer service standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting our logistics and distribution operations. The position requires a valid driver’s licence and previous experience in delivery or commercial driving. Applicants should be organised, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable with physical tasks such as heavy lifting.
Duties
- Safely operate a van to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload items, ensuring secure placement during transit
- Communicate effectively
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Follow all health and safety regulations throughout the delivery process
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and presentable at all times
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles
- Valid driver’s licence is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and team members
- Familiarity with local routes and navigation tools is preferred
