Proposed hours:
- Monday - Friday
- Late evening on a Wednesday till 6.30pm.
Essential qualities of Dental nurse:
- Nurses qualification
- GDC registered
- Team player
- Excellent communicator with staff and patients
- Thrive on delivering exceptional standard of patient care in line with CQC compliance guidance
- Previous nursing experience and be able to provide appropriate references to reflect this.
- Carry out standard decontamination procedures.
- Provide clinical chair-side support to dentists and hygienists
- Undertake reception duties in between clinics and when no clinics are on.
- Uniform to be worn all times and well presented (Dental Nurse uniform will be provided)
Desirable but not essential qualities of Dental nurse (we can provide appropriate training if required)
- SOE/Dentally software experience
- Good experience with private dentistry
- Be able to take impressions and iTero scan
- Radiography Qualification
- Experience with patients receiving the following procedures or treatments: implants, sedation, orthodontics, hygienist, cosmetic dentistry
- Provide excellent patient care
Key Responsibilities for Front of House:
- Enthusiastically greeting and welcoming visitors
- Scheduling
- Managing correspondence
- Carrying out requests from management as needed
- Maintaining stock and ordering supplies
- Answering emails and sorting post
- Answering phone calls and transferring them as necessary
- Update patient records
- Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
- Strong communication skills to ensure smooth communication between staff and patients
