Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Operations Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our day-to-day HR functions, managing a variety of administrative responsibilities related to employee data, HR systems, and internal communications. You will provide comprehensive, high-quality administrative support across the entire employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—ensuring that all processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and consistently. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, probation tracking, internal moves, and offboarding.
- Draft and issue accurate employment contracts, offer letters, and contractual variation statements using approved templates.
- Manage holiday and sickness records while supporting the accurate administration of all types of leave.
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HR system and play a key role in data cleansing and upcoming HRIS implementation projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for routine HR system queries, providing basic user support across the business.
- Manage vacancy postings, coordinate interview schedules, and maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Guide candidates through the initial screening, offer, and pre-employment reference checking processes.
- Coordinate learning and development activities, administer and monitor mandatory, regulatory, and induction training, actively following up on outstanding completions.
- Ensure all personal data is handled confidentially in line with UK GDPR, while supporting compliance with internal policies and UK employment requirements.
Requirements
- CIPD qualified (Level 3 or above), or currently working toward a CIPD qualification.
- Knowledge of UK HR administration processes and basic UK employment requirements.
- Outstanding organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy (especially when managing HRIS records).
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively, and meet steady deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
This is a fixed-term contract role. The successful candidate will be employed through our recruitment agency partner and will work on assignment with Menarini UK.
Experience:
- HR Administration: 2 years (preferred)
