Job Description:
Birkin Group are seeking an enthusiastic person with good organising skills and relevant cleaning experience to join our contract management team in South London. As a mobile supervisor, you will work closely with the local management team to provide a planned and responsive service for our clients.
***Please note: this is a mobile role, and you will be expected to travel regularly across South London***
Shift Schedule:
This role offers a varied working pattern across a range of client sites in South London. Flexibility is important, as site operating hours vary between 6:30am and 11:00pm. Most shifts will be scheduled in advance and may include morning or evening work to meet operational needs. We always have work/life balance in mind, due to the nature of the role on some occasions we might ask you to work split shifts.
Responsibilities:
- To supervise cleaning standards and compliance across the portfolio.
- To carry out planned and responsive cleaning services.
- Work to an agreed scope of work, ensuring standards are maintained.
- To support the Area Manager with day to day and planned operational needs.
- Work collaborative with Area Manager dealing with issues or raising awareness to the Area Manager for issues where support is needed.
- To proactively identify and seek opportunities within projects for additional work and business growth.
- To report and manage stock levels and ensure all sites have the required equipment, chemicals, and PPE for each site as per the agreed scope of work.
- To complete regular digital auditing reports via iAuditor to ensure all work is signed-off and agreed to by the client on the same day of the works being completed.
- To complete weekly Tool Box Talks via iAuditor.
- To raise awareness of any risks and hazards on site, reporting any near misses or concerns to the Area Manager in real time.
- To lock and unlock doors of client’s premises, where necessary.
- To identify any additional training needs and if not able to deliver them, raise to the Area Manager.
- To promote a culture of teamwork and positive collaboration within all departments, in line with Birkin Values and expected Behaviours.
- To liaise with site staff, management, and stakeholders in a professional manner at all times.
- To bring forward suitable, practical working solutions to challenges on site and inform the Area Manager where necessary for approval.
Essential:
- Flexibility with your working hours. Some days might work AM shifts; some other days PM shifts. Depending on workload might need to work split shifts.
- Minimum of 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
- Willingness to travel around the South London Area.
- Valid UK Driving Licence
