Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware and software issues in various mobile devices using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs including replacing screens, batteries, charging ports, and other components with precision welding and soldering techniques
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and manage device functions where applicable
- Conduct routine maintenance on repair tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret schematics for complex electronic circuits to facilitate accurate repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes, timelines, and device care tips
- Supervise junior technicians or apprentices, guiding them through repair procedures and safety protocols
Skills
- Strong electrical experience with a solid understanding of circuit boards, wiring, and electronic components
- Mechanical knowledge related to device assembly/disassembly and component replacement
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes
- Skilled in welding techniques used for repairing or securing electronic parts
- Experience with maintenance of repair tools and electronic testing equipment
- Leadership qualities with supervising experience in a technical environment
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and customer interactions
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally
