Job Summary
CHIZZON LTD is a well-established, family-run haulage business based in the North West of the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for reliable and professional Class 2 Drivers to join our close-knit team on a permanent basis. The Role
Operating Class 2 rigid, curtain-side vehicles equipped with tail lifts, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of a variety of mostly palletised goods.
· Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts only.
· Work-Life Balance: No nights or weekends required (unless by prior mutual agreement).
· Hours: Average 48-hour working week.
Responsibilities
- Drive lorries to transport goods over short and longer distances. We mainly operate around the NW.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatchers and team members.
-Provide updates on job progress and location.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations.
- Inspect lorries before and after trips.
- Rare and minimal hand balling of cargo.
Requirements
· Licence: Full UK Class 2 Driving Licence.
· Clean Record: Clean license preferred; a maximum of 3 points will be considered.
· Compliance: Strict adherence to DVSA and Traffic Commissioner guidelines is mandatory. Safety and legal compliance are at the heart of our operations.
· Reliability: We are looking for dependable team members who value long-term employment.
