Garage Door Installer
*******The Garage Door Company Scotland are looking to recruit a semi skilled worker from the construction industry preferably someone with skills in window and door fitting, upvc work, silicone and joinery skills full training in installing Garage Doors will be given.
Guaranteed 42.5 hours per week + 28 days paid holidays **********
You will be based from our Glasgow depot where you would load out vans as part of a 2 man team carry out the installation of Garage Doors throughout central Scotland and Housing Developments and private residential customer.
You will form part of a team and full training will be given on the various types of Garage Doors we install
CSCS card and Driving license required
Duties:
- Perform various skilled tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of structures and systems
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a skilled laborer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
