About Us
We are a friendly dispensing practice pharmacy based within Buxted Medical Centre in East Sussex. Unlike a traditional high-street pharmacy, we offer pharmacists the opportunity to work closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals, providing continuity of care and a truly patient-centred service.

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our established team on either a full-time or part-time basis.
You will work alongside:
- Another Pharmacist
- Superintendent Pharmacist
- Accredited Checking Technician (ACT)
- Experienced dispensary team
- GPs, nurses and wider practice staff
We use ProScript and have immediate access to clinical support whenever required.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing safe and effective pharmaceutical care to patients
- Supporting dispensing and accuracy checking processes
- Clinical screening and authorisation of prescriptions
- Supporting medication provision for care home residents
- Delivering pharmacy services and contributing to service development
- Acting as a role model for excellent patient care and customer service
Services We Currently Provide
- New Medicine Service (NMS)
- Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS)
- Discharge Medicines Service (DMS)
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Seasonal vaccination programmes
We are keen to expand our clinical service offering and would welcome applicants with ideas and enthusiasm for developing additional services.
Training can be provided for vaccination services and other areas of professional development.
About You
You will:
- Hold an MPharm degree (or equivalent)
- Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Be committed to delivering high-quality patient care
- Have a positive, proactive and supportive approach
Independent Prescribers are welcome to apply, although this is not essential.
Applications are welcomed from newly qualified pharmacists, experienced pharmacists and independent prescribers. Full training and support will be provided to help the successful candidate develop within the role.
Working Hours
The pharmacy is open Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.30pm, with a paid lunch break each day.
