Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high quality and consistency
- Manage team members, including scheduling, training, and motivating staff to achieve their best
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas
- Handle customer inquiries, serve orders efficiently, and resolve any issues promptly
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock control
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Skills
- Proven supervising experience with strong team management skills
- Extensive food preparation and cooking knowledge within a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
- Solid understanding of food safety protocols and food production processes
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment such as hospitality or hotel industry
- Strong kitchen experience including culinary skills relevant to fish and chip preparation
- Barista or beverage service experience is a plus but not essential
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Clear communication skills with a friendly, energetic approach to customer service
