Join Shorelocks – Front of House
We're looking for an organised, friendly and proactive Front of House team member to join our busy salon in a permanent, part-time employed role.
This is far more than a reception role. You'll be the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in keeping our salon running smoothly every day. From managing appointments and responding to enquiries to supporting our stylists and helping maximise salon performance, you'll be at the heart of the business.

What you'll be doing:
- Greeting clients and providing a warm, professional welcome
- Managing appointments using our salon software
- Responding promptly to enquiries via phone, email and social media
- Supporting stylists by ensuring appointments are allocated correctly and diaries run efficiently
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate client records
- Promoting retail products and encouraging clients to rebook future appointments
- Assisting with stock control and ordering processes
- Helping maintain a clean, tidy and professional salon environment
- Supporting the Salon Manager with the day-to-day organisation of the salon
- Helping resolve client queries and ensuring every client receives an exceptional experience
What we're looking for:
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Confidence using computers and learning new software systems
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Professional, reliable and positive approach to work
- Previous experience in reception, retail, hospitality, customer service or a salon environment would be advantageous
