Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components.
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and levels to support electrical tasks accurately.
- Operate power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Prepare work areas by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety barriers in compliance with safety standards.
- Follow detailed instructions and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and wiring procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout the project.
- Support troubleshooting activities by helping identify issues with electrical systems under guidance.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools essential for electrical work.
- Experience with power tools commonly used in electrical installations and repairs.
- Basic electrical experience or knowledge of electrical systems is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
