The Lettings Boutique is a busy and well-established lettings agency based in the prime student and residential area of Broomhill. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service to both landlords and tenants, offering a knowledgeable, professional and reliable service.
We are looking for a full-time Lettings Negotiator to join our team.
The role is Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with occasional weekend work required during busy periods.
Job Description/Specification:
Duties for the role will include:
- Answering telephone enquiries and general office administration
- Registering applicants and matching them with suitable properties
- Responding to enquiries and managing applicant communication
- Booking appointments and arranging viewings
- Conducting property viewings
- Providing landlords feedback following viewings
- Ensuring a good understanding of each property being marketed
- Writing property descriptions and uploading listings
- Drafting tenancy agreements
- Completing referencing and credit checks
- Registering deposits
- Completing inventories, inspections and check-outs
- Coordinating maintenance and arranging safety certificates
- Supporting marketing, including social media and property adverts
Requirements:
- Previous lettings experience preferred
- Excellent written communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail and confidence checking information
- Ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure
- Confident in dealing with landlords and tenants professionally
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
Desirable:
- Experience using Alto property software
- Experience using Inventory Base
- Experience in student lettings and/or HMOs
