We are looking to pay a competitive salary of £44,000 per year for the ideal candidate plus OT at hourly rate, along with 20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
We are looking for FMCG field engineer who is highly motivated to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will service, repair and solve problems quickly.
For this job, you need to have a minimum NVQ level 3 engineering and be familiar with the technical aspects of automated weighing, packaging and food processing machines used in our various customers sites throughout the UK.

Responsibilities
· Communicate with customers to determine needs and explain complex issues
· Conduct research on site
· Diagnose machinery problems
· Resolve issues under pressure
· Install and integrate machinery/lines on customer’s site
· Inspect and test machinery for safety
· Carry out maintenance on machinery/equipment
· Service machinery/equipment
· Submit reports
· Order parts
Requirements
· Previous experience in food manufacturing or food machinery
· Understanding of safety guidelines
· Well-versed in technical aspects of customers machinery/equipment
· Outstanding communication skills
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work in fast pace conditions and occasional long days and nights out
Travel around the UK on behalf of The Gsh Group and Gainsborough Engineering to provide support to our customers, also a couple of training days in Europe per year.
