HGV Class 2 Refuse Bin Wagon Driver
Due to continued expansion, Fresco Environmental Ltd are looking for experienced, reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team operating refuse bin wagons.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and emptying of wheelie bins from commercial and customer sites using our refuse collection vehicles.
We are looking for professional drivers who take pride in their work, look after their vehicle and understand the importance of providing a polite and reliable service to our customers.
Pay & Benefits
- £15.50 per hour starting rate
- Bin bonus – 20p per bin
- Rate increases to £16.00 per hour following successful completion of probation
- Regular overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x after 40 hours
- Local routes, generally within a 30-mile radius
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a refuse bin wagon safely and efficiently
- Empty and collect wheelie bins from customer sites
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure bins are collected safely and returned appropriately
- Follow all driving, health and safety regulations
- Provide polite and professional customer service
- Complete daily routes efficiently and on schedule
- Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained
About You
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence
- Previous refuse collection or bin wagon experience preferred
- Good knowledge of driving regulations and safety procedures
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Professional and polite manner
- Smart appearance
- Takes pride in their work and vehicle
