Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our pharmacy team as a Qualified Dispenser / Trainee Dispenser within the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Pathway. The role involves supporting the dispensing process while working towards gaining recognised qualifications and practical experience in a professional healthcare environment.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Support medication administration processes under supervision
- Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering advice within your scope of practice
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and stock levels
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times
- Support inventory management, including stock checks and ordering supplies
- Participate in training sessions and development programmes to progress through the apprenticeship pathway
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and professionalism within the pharmacy setting
Qualifications
- Prior pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is advantageous
- Strong commitment to patient care and professional development
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to undertake further training and achieve Level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification through the apprenticeship programme

Pay: £18,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
