Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines diligently throughout each job.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Drive company vehicles as needed to transport materials and equipment between sites.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related trades.
- Strong communication skills for clear interactions with clients and team members.
- Valid driving license with the ability to operate a vehicle safely across various locations.
- Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorating styles.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, and working at heights over extended periods.
