Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a crucial part of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist in managing stock levels, including ordering supplies as necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- A team player with a passion for providing exceptional service in the restaurant industry.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
