Café Team Member / Shift Supervisor
Caffè Marconi – Harrogate
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Café Team Member to join our team, with the opportunity to take on shift supervisor responsibilities.
If you enjoy working with people, love great coffee and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you. Barista experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming customers and providing warm, friendly service
- Taking orders and operating the till
- Providing table service and creating a great customer experience
- Preparing high-quality coffee and other drinks
- Serving food and keeping the café clean, organised and welcoming
- Working closely with the team to keep the café running smoothly
- Helping with opening and closing duties
- Taking responsibility for running shifts when required
- Supporting and guiding other team members during the shift
- Ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness and presentation are maintained
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, positive and confident personality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, responsible and well organised
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy café environment
- Previous café, barista or waiting experience is preferred but not essential
- Previous supervisory or shift-leading experience is an advantage
- Someone who is confident taking responsibility and making decisions when needed
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Hours
15–30 hours per week
Typical shifts include:
- Day shifts: 8:30am–4:30pm
- Flexible Friday and Saturday evening shifts when required
- Weekend availability required
- Monday closed
