Responsibilities
- Serve customers efficiently at the trade counter, offering product advice and assistance.
- Handle sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Assist with merchandising displays to optimise product presentation and maximise sales opportunities.
- Manage stock levels, organise products on shelves, and ensure the trade counter remains tidy and inviting.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent phone etiquette and upselling relevant products or services.
- Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining punctuality.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and stock movements.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing enquiries promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in driving commercial vehicles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritise workload.
- Excellent time management to ensure timely deliveries and customer service standards are met.
- Professional phone etiquette when dealing with customer enquiries over the phone.
