Title: Water Technician - Level 3
Location: Glasgow, UK
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)

We are looking for a Water Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water treatment systems, ensuring compliance and safety across our client sites.
This is a varied and technical role, suited to an experienced technician with strong analytical skills and the ability to work across multiple water treatment disciplines.
Role Responsibilities
Complete allocated work within agreed timescales, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and submitted in real time
Ensure all equipment is safe, fit for purpose, and used in line with company procedures and audit requirements (maximum one audit failure per year)
Carry out a range of water treatment tasks including testing, inspections, analysis, and remedial works
Interpret results and provide recommendations to maintain compliance and system performance
Support wider business operations, including mentoring junior technicians and identifying development opportunities
Conduct specialist tasks such as secondary disinfection testing, BSRIA sampling, closed system analysis, and plumbing remedial works
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Experience across Level 1 & 2 Water Technician competencies
Proven skills in either: Technical water services (closed systems, cooling towers, boiler water treatment), or
Plumbing and water treatment remedials
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
Ability to interpret technical data and make informed recommendations
Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
Full UK Driving Licence
