Becket Hall Day Nursery is located in the City Center, just 5 min walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station. There is a bus stop just outside the nursery, linking it to bus routes all over Bristol. Our nursery is set in an old Church garden, a hidden gem in the heart of the city!
We are currently seeking a Nursery apprentice to work with children aged 1 to 5 years of age.
Duties will include Caring for children aged 6 months to 5 years of age
Carrying out nursery duties such as changing nappies and feeding babies
Setting up activities
Supervising play and meal times
The ideal candidate will be looking to pursue a career in childcare as well as being dedicated, caring, reliable and hardworking. The apprentice will be working towards a level 3 childcare qualification which will take around 18 months.
Paediatric first aid, safeguarding and a food safety qualification are required for this role however these qualifications can be obtained in house.
Working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday including an 6 hour study time each week
