Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship
Bradpole Preschool require an Early Years Apprentice Practitioner from September 2026.
We are seeking a friendly, flexible individual who collaborates effectively with our established team and is able to develop strong, positive relationships with both children and parents.
Level 2 or 3 apprenticeship
Attitude and approach are highly valued for this role.
GCSE Maths and English have been achieved at Grade 4 or above.
The position will be offered for the duration of the childcare qualification (typically 1–2 years). Please note that a permanent position at the end of the training period cannot be guaranteed and will depend on staffing requirements at that time.
The role will involve working four days per week within the preschool setting, with one day per week allocated to day release with a training provider to support completion of the NVQ in Early Years Childcare.
The preschool can provide assistance in arranging a suitable training provider if required.
The pay rates for apprentices from April 2026 will be:
£8.00 for under 19’s or .
Once fully trained this rises to:
£10.85 for 18-20 year olds
£12.71 for 21-22 year olds
The position is subject to a full DBS check and the placement can only start once we have received confirmation from the Disclosure and Baring Service and two references.
