About Brewch
Brewch is an independent Manchester coffee brand focused on great coffee, good food, warm customer service and engaging social media.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and confident barista to join our Chorlton team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help create a welcoming café experience, support your teammates and represent Brewch both in-store and online.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Preparing coffee, matcha, iced drinks and other menu items to Brewch standards
* Delivering friendly and attentive customer service
* Opening and closing the café when scheduled and trained
* Cleaning, preparation, restocking and maintaining excellent presentation
* Monitoring and rotating stock correctly, including FIFO and date controls
* Following Brewch recipes, food-safety, allergen and operational procedures
* Completing cleaning, stock and opening/closing checklists
* Using Brewch’s rota, stock and operational systems where required
* Supporting colleagues, training, promotions and new menu launches
* Carrying out other reasonable duties needed for the smooth running of the café
During quieter periods, we expect team members to take initiative with cleaning, preparation, restocking and other café tasks rather than waiting to be directed.

Previous barista experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important.

Social Media & Content — Please Read
Social media and content creation are an established part of Brewch. Reasonable participation in Brewch brand content is an expected part of this role.
During paid working time, you may be asked to appear in photos, TikToks, Instagram Reels and other videos; demonstrate drinks or café activities; speak on camera; participate in promotional or behind-the-scenes content; and be filmed while carrying out normal work activities.
Selected filming may also involve approved wearable/body-mounted cameras or other recording equipment where separately notified and lawfully implemented.
You don’t need to be an influencer or presenter, but you must be comfortable being filmed, appearing on Brewch’s social channels and reasonably participating in content when required.
If you are fundamentally uncomfortable appearing on camera, this role is unlikely to be suitable for you.

Hours & Availability
The core hours for this role are Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.
Your agreed contractual working pattern will apply. Reasonable flexibility may occasionally be requested for training, meetings, promotions, events or operational requirements, with any changes or additional working time handled in accordance with your employment terms and applicable law.

Any filming, monitoring and personal-data processing will be carried out in accordance with Brewch’s applicable policies and legal obligations.
