Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive repairs on vehicle frames, bodies, and structural components using specialized tools and equipment
- Diagnose collision-related issues accurately and determine the necessary repair procedures
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when moving or positioning vehicle components or damaged parts
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols throughout the repair process
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and work completed for each vehicle
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, structures, and collision repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pry bars
- Experience using power tools including drills, grinders, and pneumatic tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safety guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and explain repair processes when necessary
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving automotive technologies
