Pharmacy Dispenser – Retail Pharmacy (Afternoon Shift)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable professional to join our retail pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for serving customers, as well as accurately preparing and dispensing medications. You will support patient care and promote the safe and effective use of medicines.
This position is for afternoon cover, working Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly motivated, and committed to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy procedures.
- Assist with administrative duties, including record keeping and inventory management.
- Provide friendly, compassionate, and patient-focused service to customers and their families.
- Respond efficiently and appropriately in urgent or emergency situations.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions, patient needs, and treatment updates.
- Maintain professionalism and sound judgement when interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare staff.
