About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) Fee Earner to join our expanding Industrial Disease team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional with proven NIHL experience who is looking to manage their own caseload within a supportive, specialist environment.
You will handle claimant NIHL claims from initial instruction through to settlement or litigation, delivering high-quality legal services while ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout the claims process.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of claimant NIHL claims from inception through to conclusion.

Assess liability and quantum using medical evidence, audiograms, employment records, and other supporting documentation.

Instruct and liaise with medical experts, counsel, and other third-party professionals.

Prepare legal correspondence, witness statements, court documents, and settlement agreements.

Negotiate settlements with defendants and insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Ensure compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and relevant Pre-Action Protocols.

Maintain accurate case records and proactively manage key deadlines.

Provide regular updates and deliver an outstanding level of client care throughout each case.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience managing claimant Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) claims.

A strong understanding of industrial disease litigation and the NIHL claims process.

Experience handling your own pre-litigated and/or litigated caseload.

Confidence interpreting medical and audiological evidence.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and client care skills.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

A proactive and detail-oriented approach to case management.
