We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with strong marketing and relationship‑building skills to help elevate our brand, drive new business opportunities, and support our long‑term growth strategy.
The Role
As our Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our marketing and business development strategy. This is a varied and hands‑on role covering strategic planning, relationship management, content creation, event coordination, and digital marketing.
You will work closely with senior leadership to strengthen our market presence, generate qualified leads, and build long‑term partnerships.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing & Growth
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy aligned with our growth objectives.
- Build and strengthen our brand positioning across target markets.
- Ensure marketing activity supports short‑ and medium‑term lead generation.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
Content, PR & Digital
- Create and manage a content calendar including thought‑leadership articles, blogs, case studies, videos, and social media posts (including WeChat, Redbook etc.).
- Oversee PR opportunities and represent the company across relevant channels.
- Manage website updates and coordinate external specialists for SEO and PPC.
- Ensure consistent messaging and high‑quality content across all platforms.
Networking & Events
- Identify and engage internal and external speakers for events.
- Plan, organise, and deliver both internal and external networking events.
- Attend industry events to build relationships and expand our professional network.
Social Media Management
- Design and manage social media engagement strategies across WeChat, Redbook, Twitter, blogs, and other relevant platforms.
- Maintain existing accounts and establish new channels where beneficial.
Business Development
- Lead successful lead‑generation campaigns and nurture new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders.
- Support the wider team in converting leads into long‑term clients.
About You
We are looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast‑growing environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in marketing management and business development.
- Background in banking or financial services is highly desirable.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Highly organised, self‑disciplined, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Results‑driven with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
Desirable
- Mandarin or Cantonese language skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing, Business, Banking, Finance, or related fields).
