Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Supervise and engage children in play and learning experiences
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery space
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum of a full and relevant L3 childcare related qualification
- Previous experience working with young children essential
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
Individual salaries will be dependant on experience and qualifications, and can be discussed further during interview/job offers, particularly where a L6 is held and the salary can be negotiable)

- To actively encourage children’s progress in all areas of development, types and stages of play, by interaction and extension of play activities.
- To plan activities and learning opportunities, ensuring that all the areas of Learning and Development are included at appropriate developmental levels.
- To be aware of your particular role and provide a wide range of activities for the children as required
- To record and inform parents of an incident or accident which has occurred.
- To complete attendance registers, daily and weekly health and safety checks, medication forms etc.
- To undertake a key person role with specific children.
- To maintain high standards of health and safety and hygiene at all times.
