Robertsons & Crawford Ltd, a dynamic, established & fast-growing IFA firm in Wokingham specialising in pensions and investments & IHT planning. We’re currently expanding our advisory team and are looking to appoint an additional Trainee advisor to join our team.
The Role
Initially to support the adviser team in servicing an existing book of business focussing on individual & corporate clients in the region. Assisting in the provision of expert personal, holistic advice to our clients in planning their financial futures whilst guiding them in tax efficiencies & prudent investment choices, while at all times upholding the principles of the firm.
Initially this will be an office-based position with the potential for flexible working hours as you grow in experience & confidence.
This position would suit someone with some experience in pensions & investments, who would like to move into an advisor role.
Minimum requirements
· Level 4 diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent (or working towards)
· Two years’ experience working within a pensions & investments environment with paraplanning experiance
· A full, unendorsed UK driver’s licence
· Meet all requirements of the FCA fit & proper regulations

Key tasks & Skills:
· Arranging client review meetings, either within an office environment or in clients’ home or business premises.
· Conducting in-depth reviews of clients’ financial circumstances, current provision, and future aims.
· Analysis of information and preparing solutions best suited to individual clients’ requirements.
· Assisting clients in making informed decisions.
· Maintaining positive and profitable long-term relationships with new & existing clients
· Maintaining up to date knowledge of financial products, tax and legislation.
· Upholding and promoting the ideals of the company

Basic salary plus additional fees on new business introduced (uncapped). Potential to earn upwards of £50k annually
