Job Description:
Yurtshire is a luxury glamping and wellness resort located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, set within 100 acres of stunning grounds that include woodland and a serene lake. Our yurts provide the perfect getaway, complemented by a sauna, yoga yurt, and spa.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out a full changeover of the accommodation to a standard that represents Yurtshire as a premium glamping experience
- Empty hot tubs, fully clean, disinfect and refill them
- Check inventory lists and ensure all yurts are fully stocked as expected
- Ensure all consumables are restocked (eg/ Washing up liquid, shampoo, soap, tea, coffee etc.)
- Light gardening duties including watering and deadheading plants
- Assist with host duties and, if needed, help to show guests to accommodation
- Clean other areas at site as directed by management. There are a number of other structures that require cleaning including communal yurts, a sauna and a treatment yurt. The cleaning schedule for these areas will be circulated on a weekly basis.
- Keep supply and linen shed tidy, prepare for future cleans
- Update the site manager about stock levels and anything that needs ordering or replacing.
Maintenance & Grounds (Desirable)
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks where appropriate
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Help maintain the appearance of outdoor spaces, pathways and communal areas
A typical day:
Working hours generally go from around 9:30am to 3pm.
Housekeeping will be on site from around 9:30am, ready to start cleaning. A normal schedule will include cleaning 2-3 yurts.
After cleaning the accommodation yurts, ready for a 2pm inspection and 3pm check in for guests, there are other tasks to do. For example, one day the sauna may need cleaning, the next day the communal yurt may need cleaning.
At the end of each day, the housekeeping team are responsible for making preparations for the next day. Setting up cleaning packs, arranging linen for the next day and making sure all store areas are left in a clean and tidy state.

Physical Requirements
Due to the nature of our woodland site, applicants should be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.The role regularly involves:
- Walking across uneven woodland terrain
- Lifting and carrying supplies
- Preparing guest accommodation
- Supporting housekeeping during changeovers
- Carrying out practical site tasks
- Spending much of the working day outdoors
A positive attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves are essential.
Ability to commute/are reliable able to get to:
- Ripon, HG4 (must have a driving license and be able to get to our rural site)
