About Us
The Family Club is a wrap-around care provider supporting families across the Bolton area. With an engaging curriculum and a strong focus on children’s well-being, we’re passionate about giving every child the best start to their day — and ending it on a high too!
We’re looking for enthusiastic Wrap Around Club Assistants to join our team in our Before School, After School and Holiday Club. If you’re caring, creative, and enjoy working with children, this could be the perfect role for you.
The Role
As a Club Assistant, you’ll:
- Work closely with the Club Manager and team to deliver high-quality wrap-around care
- Help set up and run fun activities — from arts and crafts to sports and games
- Support children with homework, reading, and quiet time
- Prepare and serve healthy snacks
- Ensure the club is always a safe, welcoming, and positive space for every child
- Build great relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Hours
- Term time: Monday–Friday, 7:30–9:15am & 3:00–6:00pm
- School holidays: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you’re:
- Friendly, patient, and enjoy working with children
- A team player with good communication skills
- Committed to safeguarding and creating an inclusive environment
- Trained (or willing to train) in Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to get stuck in
(Previous experience in childcare or playwork is an advantage but not essential — we’ll provide training.)

Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ, Teaching Qualification) and expereince of working with children.
- Robust nowledge of Safeguarding
- Food Hygiene (Desired)
- Paediatric first aider
- Eagerness to train to gain knowledge in particular educational areas
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.20 per hour
