Home Farm is seeking motivated and compassionate Social Care Workers to join our team.
There are full-time posts of 36 hours per week available, with part-time hours also considered.
The role is central to delivering person-centred care and support to residents within the care home.
Main duties include:
- Delivery of high quality person-centred care.
- Act as a key-worker for residents, supporting assessment, planning and review of care.
- Lead shifts as required.
- Administer medication in line with NHS policies
- Support and promote independence.
Essential Requirements:
- SVQ Level 2 in Social Care (or equivalent) and eligibility for SSSC registration
- Commitment to achieving SVQ Level 3
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage responsibility as a shift lead
- Flexibility to work a rota, including day and night shifts
