We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to provide high-quality care & support to individuals in their own homes. Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Supporting individuals with their care plans to meet specific health and wellbeing needs
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Assisting with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Supporting clients with light domestic tasks, including meal preparation and light cleaning where appropriate
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
- Previous experience working within a home care environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home care services
- Familiarity with care plans and understanding of individualised support requirements is beneficial
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes are preferred
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members
Requirements:
✅ Full UK Driver’s Licence and access to your own vehicle (preferred)
✅ Minimum 6 months’ experience in domiciliary or healthcare work
✅ A caring, reliable, and professional attitude
✅ Right to work in the UK
✅ Local to Derby and surrounding areas
