Job Overview
E2E Homecare Ltd is looking for an experienced, motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) to join our growing Complex Care team on a part-time basis across Yorkshire, including North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Sheffield and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse seeking flexible working arrangements alongside other professional or personal commitments.
The role combines community-based clinical work with home-based/remote working, while playing an important part in the delivery, clinical oversight and continued development of our high-quality complex care services.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role, combining visits to clients in their own homes with remote/home-based clinical and administrative work.
You will work closely with our management team, care and support staff, clients, families and other healthcare professionals to promote safe, effective and person-centred care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and providing clinical oversight of complex care packages
- Carrying out staff competency assessments relevant to individual care packages
- Supporting the development and review of clinical care plans, risk assessments and associated documentation
- Conducting clinical spot checks and quality monitoring visits
- Reviewing care records and documentation, including remotely where appropriate
- Providing clinical guidance and support to care and support staff
- Supporting the safe implementation of delegated healthcare tasks
- Identifying staff training and development needs
- Supporting staff following clinical incidents or concerns, where appropriate
- Participating in professional and multidisciplinary discussions, including remotely where appropriate
- Working collaboratively with management, families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Promoting high standards of safeguarding, clinical governance, infection prevention, medicines safety and person-centred care
- Escalating clinical concerns appropriately and contributing to continuous quality improvement
About You
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who:
- Holds current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Has relevant post-registration nursing experience
- Has experience in complex care, community nursing, neurological care, spinal injury, rehabilitation, learning disability, mental health, domiciliary care or a similar setting
- Is confident assessing staff competencies and providing clinical guidance
- Has a good understanding of delegated healthcare tasks and professional accountability
- Is confident reviewing clinical documentation, care plans and risk assessments
- Can work independently and manage their own workload effectively
- Has excellent communication and record-keeping skills
- Is professional, dependable and approachable when supporting clients and care teams
- Is committed to safeguarding, clinical governance and person-centred care
- Is willing and able to travel to clients across the relevant areas of Yorkshire
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle
Experience in complex care and/or competency assessment of care staff would be highly desirable.
NMC registration must be current and without restrictions that would prevent the applicant from undertaking the duties and responsibilities of the role.
Flexible & Hybrid Working
We recognise the value of flexibility. This position combines community visits with home-based/remote working.
Some responsibilities, including reviewing documentation, care planning, professional discussions, clinical follow-up and administrative duties, may be completed remotely where appropriate.
Other responsibilities, including client assessments, staff competency assessments, clinical observations, training support and quality monitoring visits, will require attendance at clients’ homes and services.
This is therefore not a fully remote position.
What We Offer
- £26.00–£30.00 per hour, depending on experience and suitability for the role
- Flexible part-time hours
- Hybrid working – combining community visits with home-based/remote working
- Flexibility to fit some working hours around existing professional or personal commitments
- A supportive and professional working environment
- Opportunity to play an important role in developing our growing Complex Care service
- Opportunities to contribute to clinical governance, staff competency development, training and quality improvement
- Varied and rewarding community-based work across Yorkshire
What You Should Expect
Our clients may have a range of complex health and care needs, with each package individually assessed and planned around the person.
You should be confident working independently, managing your workload and exercising appropriate professional judgement while recognising when concerns need to be escalated or further clinical advice sought.
Professionalism, reliability, compassion and respect for each client’s home, privacy, dignity, choices and independence are essential at all times.
If you are an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about high-quality complex care, clinical excellence and developing the competence and confidence of care teams, we would love to hear from you.
