We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Gardener to join our friendly, growing team. Working under an experienced Landscape & Planting designer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining 2x private estates and a number of small gardens while helping us expand into a garden maintenance division.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and has a genuine passion for plants, nature and the environment. Whether you’re newly qualified or already have practical experience, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
The Role
You’ll work as part of a small, supportive team but taking on the responsibility of plant based tasks, carrying out a wide variety of gardening and estate maintenance tasks, including:
- Weeding, pruning and seasonal garden care
- Planting, mulching and garden preparation
- Assisting with the planting of new schemes and soft landscaping
- Maintaining tools, machinery and equipment
- General estate upkeep and ensuring gardens are presented to a high standard
- Lawn care and maintenance
- Hedge cutting and boundary maintenance
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds RHS Level 2 (or equivalent) or City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Horticulture
- Has a genuine interest in horticulture, biodiversity and modern planting and environmental management practices
- Enjoys working outdoors in all seasons
- Is hardworking, motivated and keen to get stuck in
- Works well independently as well as part of a team
- Has a full UK driving licence (essential)
