Join one of the UK's leading mobile telecommunications infrastructure companies
Are you highly organised, motivated, and someone who enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish?
We are looking for a Project Accounts Coordinator to join our well-established and supportive team. Whether you're an experienced project accounts professional or an ambitious trainee looking to build a long-term career, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a varied and fast-paced office-based role where you'll play a key part in ensuring our field-based construction projects are delivered commercially from completion through to successful customer invoicing.
The Role
Working closely with our project delivery teams, commercial managers and customers, you will be responsible for managing the financial administration of multiple live construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and processing customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Ensuring customer billing milestones are achieved and evidenced correctly.
- Monitoring project progress and identifying any blockers to invoicing.
- Ensuring field teams have captured and uploaded all required project documentation.
- Liaising directly with customers regarding project completion, documentation and invoicing queries.
- Supporting customer meetings and conference calls when required.
- Working collaboratively across multiple departments to keep projects moving.
- Managing your own portfolio of projects and prioritising workload effectively.
- Providing regular progress updates to managers and helping deliver against team targets.
- Acting as a "completer-finisher" who enjoys solving problems and making things happen.
About You
We're looking for someone who is driven, proactive and enjoys working in a busy environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence working with customers and internal stakeholders.
- A positive, adaptable and reactive approach to changing priorities.
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- A genuine desire to see tasks through to completion.
Previous experience within project accounts, construction administration, telecoms, finance or project coordination is advantageous, but not essential.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn and able to demonstrate the personal qualities needed to succeed.
What We Offer
You'll become part of an experienced, friendly team where training and ongoing support are provided from day one.
Our benefits include:
