Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Stalking Practitioner to join our team. In this paid role, you will play a vital part in supporting victims of stalking and harassment, providing expert guidance, safety planning, and emotional support. Your work will help empower individuals to regain control and rebuild their lives while contributing to our mission of ending domestic abuse through proactive intervention. Responsibilities
The role will involve Stalking-specific risk assessment
- Individualised safety planning
- Police and criminal justice advocacy
- SPO and protective-measure advocacy
- Safeguarding and information sharing
- Multi-agency risk management
Key Responsibilites
Manage a specialist stalking caseload according to risk, need and service priorities. Undertake stalking-specific risk and needs assessments using recognised tools and professional judgement.
Develop individualised safety plans and review them dynamically as circumstances change. Provide independent advocacy through police, criminal justice, civil and safeguarding processes.
Communicate stalking risk, victim impact and professional concerns clearly to police and partner agencies.
Identify cases where Stalking Protection Orders, Interim SPOs or other protective measures should be considered.
Represent the victim’s voice within multi-agency risk-management processes.
Recognise stalking involving post-separation abuse, child contact, third parties, technology and stalking by proxy.
Identify safeguarding concerns affecting adults, children and secondary victims.
Maintain accurate and defensible records, including risk, decisions and actions.
Participate in supervision, case review and reflective practice.
Contribute to service development, awareness raising and wider professional learning where required
Requirements
Essential ; Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
- Significant experience of specialist stalking, domestic abuse or comparable advocacy practice.
- Strong understanding of stalking, associated risk and impact on victims, children and secondary victims.
- Experience of stalking-specific risk assessment and risk management.
- Experience of individualised safety planning. Experience managing complex or high-risk cases.
- Knowledge of criminal/civil justice processes and protective measures.
- Experience working with police and statutory agencies.
- Strong safeguarding knowledge relating to adults and children.
- ISAC accreditation or equivalent specialist stalking qualification/experience

Desirable ; Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
- Paladin-accredited ISAC training.
- Specialist stalking risk-assessment training.
- Experience of Stalking Protection Order advocacy.
- Experience of technology-facilitated abuse and stalking by proxy.
- Domestic abuse specialist qualification.
- Relevant criminal or civil justice training. Experience contributing to training, briefings or awareness raising.
Desirable; Skills and professional attributes
- Experience contributing to service development.
- Experience delivering awareness raising or professional briefings.
- Ability to contribute to monitoring, evaluation and service learning.

Recruitment timeline

Shortlisting Successful candidates will be invited to interview by 5pm on the 18th September Interviews
Interviews will take place in a Liverpool location on 22nd, and 23rd of September. Interviews will last approximately 45 mins to an hour
Reasonable adjustments are available at every stage of the recruitment process.
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per hour
