An exciting opportunity has become available at our Ipswich depot. We are currently seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to join our successful Parts Team.
The main focus of the role will be geared towards building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers within the commercial vehicle market, and delivering a one stop shop service that will keep Chassis Cab at the forefront of customers’ minds.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- To deliver required parts to customer’s sites in a polite and courteous manner, ensuring full work uniform is worn at all times.
- To drive safely ensuring the Highway Code is followed at all times.
- To load the delivery vehicle in an order that matches the delivery sheet to be more efficient and in the safe correct way.
- To plan the route before leaving site to save fuel and be more efficient.
- To ensure customers sign for parts and are given all required paper work.
- To record mileage and fuel on a daily basis
- Maintain vehicles in a clean and safe condition, completing vehicle check sheet before leaving site.
- Contributing towards picking of parts orders ready for delivery.
- Attending stock check and contributing positively where needed.
- Work in line with policies and procedures designed to meet the requirements both quality and environmental standards.
- Engaging in and promoting the Chassis Cab/ DAF brand by means of making sure customers are aware of the latest promotions as well as delivering the latest promotional flyers with parts deliveries
As a Parts Delivery Driver you will have:
- Excellent organisational & time management skills
- Appeasing customer service skills
- A clean full UK driving license
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
