Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised full time or part time Senior Sales Administrator to work alongside the Managing Director to generate, nurture and manage important client accounts.
In this newly created role, you will utilise traditional (telephone, email etc.) and innovative techniques (AI and other automation) to create new opportunities and relationships, and to deliver a level of customer service that is second to none.
Your proactive approach, exceptional communication and organisational skills and desire to deliver great outcomes for the customers and the business will help you to contribute to the overall success of our sales objectives.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales admin focussed professional to thrive in a tech manufacturing world, with high profile clients throughout the UK. Both part time and full time applications will be considered.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate all sales administration activities to ensure timely and accurate management and servicing of enquiries, quotations, and contracts
- Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) software to track interactions, sales pipelines, and follow-ups
- Prepare detailed sales reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to support strategic decision-making
- Liaise with internal teams such as finance, technical, production and marketing to facilitate seamless order fulfillment
- Assist in resolving client enquiries promptly through effective communication via email and over the phone - subsequently arranging appointments for the MD to attend
- Work alongside the Managing Director to prepare and submit tenders, large proposals and similar documentation
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is critical for efficient document creation and communication
- Strong experience with CRM software to manage customer data and sales pipelines effectively
- Proficient in telephone marketing and customer comms via Teams
- Excellent communication skills to articulate information clearly and professionally to a technically minded audience
- Demonstrated experience in sales administration within a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in data entry, proposal creation, tender submission etc.
- Strong IT skills supporting overall computer literacy including familiarity with IT systems used in business operations
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude towards client engagement and problem-solving skills
