We are seeking a test technician to join our Electrification and Battery Testing team. In this role, you will

Prepare customer (EV battery) product for testing within the BAT (Battery Abuse Test) facility.
- Assist engineers in setting up the test equipment, instrument the product and perform the test.
- Carry out pre & post-test safety checks on product and equipment and complete safety documentation.

This is a 12-month contract Inside IR35
- This role is to be paid up to £22 p/hr inclusive of holiday pay.
- The role is working 39 hours a week
- Some shift working/overtime maybe required - an allowance will be paid accordingly in line with agency worker regulations

What you’ll need

Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Hands-on mechanical/electrical aptitude, careful working style, and a strong safety mindset.
- Full UK Driving licence required
- Use of Microsoft Office
