We are seeking a highly skilled Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician to join our professional service team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, specialising in Toyota models. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced equipment and software to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Perform complex repairs and maintenance on Toyota vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
- Utilise schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle problems efficiently.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Maintain detailed records of all diagnostic procedures, repairs, and parts used for each vehicle serviced.
- Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices to uphold high standards of workmanship.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Master Diagnostic Technician or Diagnostic Technician, specialising in Toyota vehicles or similar brands.
- Extensive knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, mechanical components, and automotive repair techniques.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Strong understanding of assembly processes and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing repairs in various positions.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.
- Relevant certifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent are preferred but not essential.
