Overview
We are seeking a skilled Handyman/woman General Builder Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a versatile skill set, capable of undertaking various maintenance, construction, and decorating tasks across different sites. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring properties are maintained and enhanced to a high standard. A valid driving licence and good communication skills are essential for this position.
Duties
- Carry out general maintenance and repair work across residential and commercial properties
- Strong understanding and ability with painting, decorating, and finishing tasks to meet client specifications
- Assist with minor building works, including carpentry, plastering, and tiling
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project requirements and progress
- This is customer facing so good people skills required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in general building, decorating, or maintenance roles
- Driving licence is essential; ability to operate company vehicles safely
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and decorating standards
- Good command of English language, both spoken and written
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Organised with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
