Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our legal team in providing comprehensive support to our solicitors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with legal research, drafting documents, and managing cases efficiently. The department will be primarily residential and commercial conveyancing, and opportunity to get involved in other areas of law.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using various resources
- Assist solicitors with case preparation and management
- Draft legal documents, including letters and contracts
- Maintain and organise legal files and documents
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and other parties
- Manage and update databases and case management systems
- Provide administrative support to the legal team
Requirements:
- LAW DEGREE and LPC
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- IT proficiency for database management and research purposes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Effective time management abilities to meet deadlines
- Previous experience working in a legal or office environment is advantageous
- Familiarity with Outlook or similar email platforms
