Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Supplier Relationship & Category Sourcing Specialist to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and foster strong partnerships with suppliers. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive category sourcing strategies to meet organizational needs and optimize supplier performance.
- Build and nurture collaborative relationships with suppliers, ensuring clear communication and mutual value creation.
- Conduct detailed negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels while maintaining strong supplier partnerships.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms to manage procurement data, track supplier performance, and streamline sourcing activities.
- Analyze market trends, supply chain risks, and logistics considerations to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate potential disruptions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with operational requirements and strategic objectives.
- Monitor supplier compliance with contractual agreements, quality standards, and delivery schedules to uphold organizational standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems including SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) for procurement management.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure advantageous terms while fostering positive supplier relationships.
- Deep understanding of supply chain processes, logistics operations, and category management best practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers across diverse regions.
