Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks and supporting various departments within the organisation. The successful candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
- Maintain and update organisational records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correctly filed
- Assist with scheduling production
- Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and other forms of communication
- Support administrative projects as required, including filing, photocopying, and document preparation
- Ensure the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times
- Provide general clerical support to team members as needed
Qualifications
- Proven office experience or administrative background with a strong understanding of office procedures
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy levels
- Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to handle data entry accurately and efficiently
- Previous clerical experience is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is important
