Overview
We are seeking friendly and professional Waitress/Waiter/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest service in a lively restaurant and bar environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous experience in a similar setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, with opportunities for career development within our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system or manually when required
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Provide excellent guest service by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations
- Upsell additional items to maximise sales opportunities in a friendly manner
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and serving processes
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the service area
- Handle payments accurately, including cash and card transactions, and provide correct change where applicable
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and workstations according to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for all new staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with kitchen operations or culinary arts is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to remain professional under pressure during busy service hours

Pay: £12.71-£18.21 per hour
